This weekend an enthusiastic team of volunteers set to work on a new project to transform the garden at Rebecca House. Volunteer, Greg Pinto has created a beautiful new garden design together with our young people. The plan they have come up with incorporates raised beds, a wildlife garden and a quiet seating area.
The keen group of volunteers including staff, our founders and trustees, gave up their day to prepare the ground and build the raised beds. Four raised beds are now in place and ready for filling and planting. What a difference a day can make with a dedicated team and some serious spadework!
We are very grateful to KPMG who are supporting this project as well as to the volunteers who gave up their time and energy to set the wheels of this exciting new project in motion.
Watch this space for further updates as the work on the garden progresses.
